you know you need an exorcism when........

....... your kid looks like this. everyone, meet night time finley. last night jess and I were watching a movie when we heard a racket and confustication arise from the area we last saw daytime finley. after waiting with hope for the raucous activity to subside for some time we realized that our son had been replaced with his demonic doppelgänger. after we braved entrance to his chambers we found this.

ok, so the black stuff shows up later. actually the black stuff was our doing. that's his tummy medicine. he was too animated to swallow it like he normally does and this is the result. although he looks fine here, nighttime finley didn't calm down for two hours and jess and I still don't know if Reese Witherspoon chose Paul Rudd or Owen Wilson.

after a night of screaming, howling, summoning spirits and general bad behavior, this little guy likes to adoringly gaze into the ether - letting his blue eyes sparkle in the sun while the snot dripping from his nose glistens in the most innocent manner possible, causing his dad to forgive the events from just a few hours ago, take pictures and write run on sentences for the whole world to see.
