the doors

now that the boy is mobile he gravitates toward doors. open. shut. open. shut. sun goes up. sun goes down.

hauling gravel

last weekend we built a shed pad for a new shed. you can see the work in progress in one of my failed attempts at photographing fin and feeding him at the same time. it was a beautiful spring weekend. here you see fin and i taking a short refueling break.

hike

these happen to be some of my personal favorite pictures of finley (and my wife) so far. this was the first nice day of spring. fin was super excited to go in the backpack, which surprised me. he also liked eating rocks when he got to the destination.

 

 

crawling

its probably not incredibly obvious, but in this series, you can see movement. everything in relation to fin kept moving too. vera had to move her game of memory back as fast as she could guess the right pieces. fin is not really crawling yet, just dragging himself around. a full crawl will come soon though.

 

 

dedicated irish

 

finley took his first st patrick's day pretty seriously, unlike all of those other people who laughed, and giggled, and maybe had a beer or two. i like to believe this is his way of showing respect to his heritage.

we kept waiting for spring to show up. finally we just donned our coats and hung out in the back yard pretending it was warm.
